Heather L. Marrs, MA, LPC,
A little about me...
I have been in the mental health field since 1998. My career has given me the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and adults in every imaginable setting (e.g., private practice, clinics, inpatient, outpatient, outdoor therapy, HIV/AIDS, incarceration, foster care, addiction). My education, clients, and experiences have given me a wealth of understanding that I am thankful to be able to bring into my private practice.
I earned my BS in Psychology from Kennesaw State University in 1999 and my MA in Humanistic Psychology from University of West Georgia in 2005.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a wife, a wonderer, a wanderer, an artist, and a therapist...just to name a few.
Payments and Insurance
I am no longer billing insurance. I provide a reduced rate for all self pay clients. I am also able to provide a receipt for services that you may file with your insurance (Anthem, BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, or any other policy with out of network benefits) for a partial reimbursement.
